Michel Gurfinkiel is a Milstein writing fellow and a scholar of European Islamism, Turkey and the Arab-Israeli conflict. He founded the Paris-based Jean-Jacques Rousseau Institute and was editor-in-chief of the French weekly Valeurs Actuelles.
