Profile

Michael Rubin is the Forum's director of policy analysis, covering Iran, Turkey and the Horn of Africa. A former Pentagon official, he has worked in Iran, Yemen and Iraq and taught U.S. Navy and Marine units about regional conflict and terrorism. His books include Dancing with the Devil and Eternal Iran. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in history and a B.S. in biology from Yale.
